Iran attributed recent conflicts with the U.S. to American interference in managing Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz. Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, during a visit to Iraq, said that the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz according to the understanding with the U.S. is solely Tehran's responsibility, and any interference would disrupt this process and escalate tensions.
