Yitzhak Dar: Ultimately, after 47 years, direct negotiations between Iran and the U.S. took place

Iran has faced sanctions for over 40 years, and Iranians are intelligent people, as are Americans. From the beginning, we told them that ultimately they would see that war and conflict lead nowhere, and no matter how long and large the war is, in the end, they must sit at the negotiating table. The severe disagreement between the two countries certainly required a lot of effort and many behind-the-scenes consultations.
