Iran unveiled its third edition of dietary guidelines/ serious attention to environmental considerations

Tehran - The Deputy Minister of Health announced the revision and publication of the third edition of Iran's dietary guidelines, stating that in this edition, the "food plate" was introduced instead of the "food guide pyramid," and alongside it, greater emphasis was placed on physical activity, reducing food waste, avoiding consumption of highly processed foods, and environmental considerations more than before.
