Responsibility for Any Incident Outside Designated Routes Lies with Ship Owners

The Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority warned about the consequences of vessels navigating outside Iran's declared routes: the consequences resulting from navigation on unauthorized routes will be the responsibility of the owner, operator, and captain of the vessel.
