Iranian media report that the "first round of the quadrilateral negotiations" was suspended after "80 minutes of talks for internal consultations." Just before the negotiations began, J.D. However, moments after his remarks, Mr. Trump threatened on Truth Social that if Tehran does not stop its proxy forces in Lebanon, the USA will strike Iran "with a hard blow" again. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the head of Iranian negotiators, responded on X stating: "We do not take the American threats seriously. They better be careful with their statements." These negotiations are being held in Switzerland with mediation by Pakistan and Qatar.
