Semnan - IRNA - The traditional and ancient ritual of "greeting" by the mourning groups of the villages of Hajjiabad and Qeshlaq Nafar was held on the eve of Tasua Hosseini on the Tehran-Mashhad transit road, within the area of Hajjiabad village; a ritual in which each group's flag, symbolizing Imam Hussain (AS) and Hazrat Abolfazl al-Abbas (AS), greet each other as a sign of mutual respect and devotion. After this symbolic meeting, the two groups form a large mourning congregation to commemorate the martyrdom of the standard-bearer of Karbala, Hazrat Abolfazl al-Abbas (AS).

Today, on the third of Tir 1405 and on Tasua Hosseini (A) day, Tehran Bazaar was the scene of unparalleled solidarity and love for the family of innocence and purity; mourning groups from different parts of the capital gathered in this historic market and with lamentations and setting up charity stations, while honoring the Ashura epic, kept alive the ancient heritage of Muharram rituals in the busiest economic center of the capital.
