While some platforms during the month of Muharram have turned into venues for harsh criticism and even threats against some officials, Meysam Motiee has expressed different statements and taken a stance against extremists. Angry at the insults directed at Iran's military commanders by extremists, and recalling that this group previously insulted Martyrs Salami and Bagheri, he said: "What kind of people are you who consider only yourselves revolutionary? Enough, you need to be silenced." Motiee views these actions by the extremists as part of anti-revolutionary programs and says: "This is exactly what the counter-revolution wants; for us to destroy our own faithful forces."
