Tehran - IRNA - The Rashadat oil field is on the verge of a new leap; with the successful installation of the main development platform weighing 6,200 tons, one of the country's most important offshore oil projects has entered a new phase. According to the CEO of the Iranian Continental Shelf Oil Company, upon completion of this project, the daily production capacity of the Rashadat field will increase by 35,000 barrels; this increase will be accompanied by the daily injection of 80,000 barrels of water to maintain reservoir pressure and ensure sustainable production.
