Warning; Monthly deficit of 60 billion tomans in Social Security/ Hidden Challenges of the Largest Insurance Fund

The Social Security Organization is today the largest insurance institution in the country and the most important economic support for millions of Iranian households; an organization that, in addition to paying retirees' pensions, is responsible for a significant portion of insurance and healthcare services to half of the country's population. However, examining the organization's income and expense figures shows that Social Security is facing a liquidity imbalance but a persistent mismatch between its resources and expenditures.
