Approval of 3-day closure of Tehran / Multiple route plans for the martyr leader's funeral procession

Tehran - IRNA - The commander of the Tehran Revolutionary Guards and the head of the funeral ceremony organizing committee announced the design of four routes for the funeral procession of the pure body of the martyr leader in various parts of the capital. He said: Due to the expectation of tens of millions of attendees, it is no longer possible to hold the procession on a single route, and multiple routes have been planned for the ceremony. Full details of these routes will be announced. In this regard, a proposal for a three-day closure of Tehran to hold the ceremony was submitted and approved by the provincial government, and is awaiting final execution decision.
