The US Central Command, CENTCOM, announced that American forces targeted positions in Iran on Friday in response to Iran's attack on a commercial ship in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the CENTCOM statement, American aircraft bombed missile and drone depots as well as Iran's coastal radar facilities. Earlier, Donald Trump, in response to a question about the consequences of Iran's attack on a cargo ship, said, "You will see." He also held Iran responsible for the Friday attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz and said that the action is considered a "stupid violation of the ceasefire" between the two countries.
