The U.S. Senate, controlled by Republicans, supported a bill to stop U.S. military action against Iran, contrary to Donald Trump. This bill, which was also approved by the House of Representatives earlier this month, passed the Senate on Tuesday evening with 50 votes in favor and 48 against.
